100s Gala >>>>>>>>>
Sunday 14th September 2008 >>>>>>>>>
(Age as at 14th Sept 2008)
· Mini Gala on Sunday 14th September 2008.
· Swimmers must be 9 years or over on the day to enter.
· Enables Swimmers to obtain Personal Best times over 100m.
· Helps Coaches, Parents & the Swimmers monitor progress.
· Medals to top 3 in each age category (11/U, 12/13, 14/Ov)
· Completed Entry forms & money to be handed to Chris Butters or any Committee Member.
· Entry fee £1.50 per Event. No refunds once entry received
· Closing Date: Sunday 7th Sept 2008.
· Withdrawal from one or more events MUST be made prior to the Gala but NO LATER than 2.15pm on the day.
ALL withdrawals can only be made via Chris Butters (07976 829303)
· Parents please note: On the day of Gala there will be an admission charge of £2.00 per person to spectate.

NORTH LANCS – October Level 3 Meet
· To be held at Palatine Pool, Blackpool on Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th October 2008
· Age as at 5th October 2008
· Great opportunity for the younger Swimmers to experience an external Gala run under ASA Laws and ASA Technical rules.
· Enables Swimmers to obtain Personal Best times.
· Need to be realistic when entering that the swimmer is capable of swimming the stroke(s) correctly as ASA disqualification rules apply for all swimmers regardless of age.
· Also need to ensure that entries adhere to the Qualifying Times
i.e. must not have a Personal Best faster than the upper QT nor slower than the lower QT.
· Swimmers need not enter this meet to qualify for the Level 2 North Lancs meet in January/February 2009.
· All completed entry forms must be signed off by Gill Rankin as valid and correct prior to being handed to Chris Butters or any other Committee member.
· Completed Entry forms & money to be returned no later than Sunday 7th Sept 2008 (in order to send to Janice Whittle by Friday 12th September).
· Entry fee £2.50 per Event plus a £4.00 Competition fee.

Age is as at 26th October 2008
Venue : Hydro Pool, Harrogate
Open to Girls (9-13yrs) and Boys (9-14yrs) who qualify at Level 2 i.e. must swim faster than the qualifying times listed
This meet will be supported by Leyland Barracudas swimming club however swimmers will be required to make their own arrangements for getting to the venue.
An electronic entry form needs to be submitted by the club, hence if you are interested please complete a copy of the paper entry form and make your cheque payable to ‘Leyland Barracudas ASC’. Please also indicate if you require a Coaches Poolside pass.
All forms must be signed off by Gill Rankin as valid entries before being returned to Chris Butters, Janet Smith or Wendy Ratchford by no later than Friday 12th September. Please note that although the closing date is the 1st October, Harrogate is a popular meet and entries are dealt with on a first come first serve basis.
